The Bell Tower of St. Peter’s Church has long been a symbol of Riga’s endurance. The current bell, recast after World War II, carries inscriptions and reliefs representing renewal and unity. It still rings on special occasions, echoing through the Old Town.

The bell tower once served as a fire watch post, offering the highest vantage point in medieval Riga. Today it’s one of the most visited viewpoints in the city.
