History & Facts
The Latvian National Museum of Art was built in 1905, designed by architect Wilhelm Neumann. It was among the first buildings in the Baltics constructed specifically as an art museum.

The façade is decorated with allegorical sculptures, while inside the museum holds over 50,000 works of art — from the 18th century to the present day.
