THE SOUL OF RIGA
Presence of the Port — Riga Passenger Port
History and Facts
Riga Passenger Port as a dedicated quay for ferries and cruise ships was established in 1965. Located in Andrejosta in the very center of Riga, it lies only a short walk from the Old Town and serves as the city’s main sea gateway for passenger traffic.

Interesting Fact
Regular ferry services connect Riga with Stockholm, while in the cruise season vessels arrive from across the Baltic Sea. The terminal can also accommodate state and naval ships during official visits.

Author’s Note
To me, this view is about calm and strength at once — the breadth of water, the weight of the ship, and the city’s rhythm side by side. Infrared tones emphasize the port’s quiet, steady presence.
