THE SOUL OF RIGA
THE SOUL OF RIGA
The Art of the Wall
History and Facts
Located in Dome Square, this mural was created in 2014 on the side (north-facing) wall of the Riga Cathedral complex, close to Mazā Pils iela. It blends contemporary street art with Old Riga’s medieval atmosphere — with St. Peter’s Church rising in the background as part of the city’s layered skyline.

Interesting Fact
The mural was created as part of Riga’s contemporary street-art wave in the 2010s, bringing a modern voice into one of the city’s oldest squares. Its placement turns the wall itself into a meeting point between past and present.
